Rounds 1 and 2 include a pre-emergent application to help prevent broadleaf weeds and crabgrass before they start arriving. What type of fertilizer do you use?
We use a variety of fertilizer products! Some are organic, but most are not. They are all federally and state-approved for use.
Is your fertilizer safe for kids and pets?
Everybody should remain off treated areas for at least 24 hours. This also applies to organic products. After 24 hours, the treated areas are fine for pets and kids!
Do you fertilize newly seeded or newly installed lawns?
Starter fertilizer is great for new lawns. We also offer CarbonPro-G, an organic biochar product. It helps to retain moisture and promote strong root growth. It is a good option for new lawns. We can plan a turf care program for someone with a new lawn or for someone installing one.
Do you test the soil before fertilizing?
We do not include soil testing in our fertilizing services, but we can provide it upon request.
What do I need to do before a fertilization service?
Before a fertilizing service, it is best to mow a couple of days beforehand for each visit. Watering can be done a few hours to a day after the visit and is very beneficial.
How is pricing determined?
Fertilizing pricing is based on the turf area's square footage.
